2020 THE YEAR OF THE PIVOT
Like many, I lost my job after 30 years due to COVID-19, it was a very uncertain time and I had to PIVOT!
What I didn’t know then that I know now, is that the pandemic presented me with an opportunity to pause and think about what I really wanted to do with the rest of my life. Fast forward to 2022 not only did I survive but I am thriving.
Since a very young age it was clear that I loved animals and that one day I would try to make a difference, how at that time yet wasn’t clear. Fast forward to 2022 my husband and I have fostered over 30 dogs and currently Bono (left; 2 years old) & Zeppelin (right; 10 years old) are our resident foster fails, product testers & quality control.
FUN FACT: we adopted Bono from Cairo in May of 2021 through a local rescue and Zeppelin was adopted in 2011 after a career re-assignment from being an autism assistant.
